Andy is a biochemist and pharmacologist with over 40 years of experience in drug discovery and development. At Scios, he initiated the development program for Natrecor, which was approved for the treatment of acute decompensated heart failure. At Medivation, he led preclinical research on XTANDI (enzalutamide) for prostate cancer and TALZENNA (talazoparib) for prostate and breast cancers. Most recently at Auransa, an early AI-driven biotechnology company, Andy led a team that discovered and advanced AU-409, a novel orally active therapeutic for liver cancer that is currently in clinical trials.

Across leadership roles at Auransa, Medivation, Scios, and CalBio, Andy has contributed to three marketed products and numerous clinical candidates spanning oncology, cardiovascular disease, pain, and inflammation. He is an author on 90 scientific publications and an inventor on 35 patents.

Son is a medicinal chemist with over 20 years of experience, having started his professional career at Celera Genomics in 2005. From 2006-2016, Son was employed at Genelabs, Verseon and Medivation in roles with increasing responsibilities. From 2016-2022, he was Head of Chemistry at SPARCBIO. Son co-founded 1cBio in 2022, together with Jit Chakravarty and Sunny Chen. Since 2016, he has advised and supported several seed-stage companies regarding the design and synthesis of new chemical matter for their preclinical programs. In many cases, Son and his team were directly involved with the invention and discovery of the lead series and molecule. Son received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Wilson W. Cheung, CPA, is a seasoned Wall Street veteran with over 30 years of experience in finance, compliance, investor relations, cross border transactions, fund-raising and corporate leadership at both public and private companies in the TMT and healthcare space. Wilson has been a public company CFO since 2003, and for the past 12 years working for pharma and biotech companies operating in both US and Asia, including CFO and consulting roles at SciClone Pharmaceuticals, KBP Bioscience, Apollomics, Tessa Therapeutics, Drug Farm and Tikva Allocell. Currently Wilson is CFO of a stealth US spin-out. Wilson has an extensive network of US and Asian investors, and had completed Nasdaq IPO, equity follow-on, debt and M&A transactions for over $1.3 billion during his CFO tenure.

Wilson graduated with a BA in Economics/Business from UCLA. He is a California Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Certified Director of Corporate Governance from UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management. Wilson is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), active as a UCLA alumni mentor, an avid padel tennis player, and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
